Champagne Cake Dip
Hey, all! Karen here, and I’m honored to help cap off one of the last Sugar & Soul recipe posts of 2016! This Champagne Cake Dip is exactly the kind of recipe I need to impress my guests and not stress over it!
As you’ve probably guessed, I’m a writer, and the first to admit, I’m not a cook! I can throw together simple meals in the frying pan, but when it comes to the precision of following a recipe — measuring this, sifting that — I often lack the patience (and ingredients) to perfectly execute the instructions. Then when I’m done improvising and estimating my way through the process, I usually end up with something that looks or tastes a little… well… weird.
I don’t usually have to follow recipes in my day-to-day life, but whenever I’m invited to a party or gathering, I hate showing up empty-handed. Plus, I’d always prefer to present my hostess with something unique, something I can say that I made myself. That’s why I love finding simple recipes that are easy to share in a big group, especially if there’s no actual “cooking” involved at all!
I’m so excited to share with you this 3-Ingredient Champagne Cake Dip, just in time for New Year’s Eve. It’s festive, delicious, and of course, super easy to make
This dreamy dessert dip goes great with a glass of bubbly and fresh strawberries. It’s also delicious when enjoyed with graham cracker sticks or pretzels for a salty-sweet treat!
To whip up a batch of this indulgent dip, blend powdered cake mix with half a tub of pre-made frosting, then splash in the recipe’s star ingredient: pink champagne! (As an added bonus, you can drink the rest.) In minutes, you have a fluffy, festive dessert that’s totally portable and fun to share with your family and friends!
As the year and holiday season comes to a close, it’s time to slow down and unwind. Whether you’d like to bring a dish to a gathering or you’re hosting your own, this no-stress 3-Ingredient Champagne Cake Dip is a perfect addition to any New Year’s Eve celebration. Throw it together, then relax; everyone will be so excited to dig in, they won’t even care that it took all of five minutes to make.
