About This 7 Layer Dip Recipe
Since the ingredients for this dip are store-bought, your biggest job when making this recipe is simply assembling it! Here’s a closer look at each delicious layer:
- Refried Beans – The base layer! Canned refried beans don’t require cooking before using since they’re already cooked, such a great time saver!
- Chunky Salsa – Must be drained before using in this recipe so the dip doesn’t become a soupy mess!
- Guacamole – Guacamole tends to eventually turn brown when exposed to air, so it’s best tucked in between layers! This is great to keep in mind if you decide to switch up the layers in this dip! Feel free to use store-bought or make Homemade Guacamole.
- Seasoned Creamy Layer – This is made with cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning!
- Shredded Cheese – I love using shredded Mexican cheese but feel free to use your favorite shredded cheese!
- Diced Roma tomatoes – Add wonderful, fresh flavor to this dip!
- Toppings – Sliced green onion and black olives!
Tasty Variation Ideas
- Switch Up The Layers! Feel free to add or subtract any ingredients that you’d like! For ideas try using taco meat, Rotel, or even pico de Gallo. The possibilities are endless!
