These Santa Hat Brownies are a simple and cute recipe to make with the kids for the holidays! A delicious fudge brownie is topped with buttercream frosting and a juicy strawberry!
Enjoy them with a glass of Christmas Punch while you’re filling out Letters To Santa or getting creative with Christmas Coloring Pages! After all, it’s often the simplest moments that often make the best memories.
One of my favorite parts about the holidays is baking up a storm in the kitchen. These Santa Hat Brownies are fun to make with the family because even the kiddos can help!
Go ahead and use a store-bought brownie mix if you’re in a pinch or want to keep things simple. If you prefer a homemade brownie base, use my favorite Fudge Brownie recipe — you won’t regret it!
How To Make Santa Hat Brownies:
The kids can help with these Christmas Brownies by pouring ingredients into the bowl and stirring the batter. But the best part comes after the brownies have been cooked and have cooled.
That’s when it’s time to add the Santa hats! Use a piping bag to pipe a circle of Frosting on each brownie to secure the strawberry and give the hats a furry trim.
Then, another dot of frosting on top makes the little pom pom!
Needless to say, the youngsters always love helping with the frosting. Don’t be surprised if some disappear!
These festive Santa Brownies are cute enough to share at your holiday get-togethers, but simple enough to make with the family on a snowy day. I love the thought of sitting around the table and eating brownies while doing Christmas crafts — a new holiday tradition!
Can I Make Santa Hat Brownies With Cream Cheese Frosting?
Of course, as long as it’s thick enough to hold the strawberry “hat”!
Can You Freeze Brownies?
Yes, the brownies can be frozen, and they can provide the perfect holiday treat in a pinch.
Make a batch of brownies, let them cool, then cover them in plastic wrap then aluminum foil. They’ll stay good in the freezer for several months.
Then, if you need a last-minute holiday dessert, you’ll already have some brownies on hand. Let them thaw on the counter for a few hours, add the strawberry Santa hats, and you’re done!

- 9 fresh strawberries
- 1/2 cup vanilla frosting
Instructions

- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, brown sugar, and oil for 2 MINUTES!
