This Maple Lemonade is inspired by Maine and made with just lemon juice, maple syrup, and water. It’s a refreshing cold drink for summer or fall!
You guys know that I have a pretty strong attachment to this state that I call home. It inspires me. From our rocky coast to our potato fields, this place consistently takes my breath away and reminds me just how lucky I am. And you all should visit this summer so you’ll know what I’m talking about 😉
And when you visit, make sure you grab several bottles of Maine Root. Maple Lemonade, it’s pretty amazing stuff, one of my favorite drinks ever, but it can be a bit hard to find.
Whenever I see it, I always grab a bottle or two because they’re just THAT good. But since I don’t find it often, I decided it was time to make my own version here at home. This recipe is made with just fresh lemon juice, maple syrup, and water.
It’s a simple drink that packs both cozy and bright flavors and is perfect for cooling down on a sunny afternoon! Plus, the maple syrup eliminates the need for granulated sugar or simple syrup. This means it’s a slightly healthier alternative to traditional lemonade.
It’s imperative that you use 100% pure maple syrup for this Maple Lemonade since it has a stronger, richer flavor than regular store-bought syrups and is also thinner, making it better for mixing.
Every sip of this Maple Lemonade tastes like home to me, and I think that no matter where you live, it will feel the same for you because we all grew up on lemonade and pancakes, right? Or at least I hope so, and for those that didn’t, I wish you all the lemonade and pancakes in the world!
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp 100% pure maple syrup
- 8 oz. water
- ice
Instructions
- Stir together lemon juice, syrup, and water. Top off with ice.
Notes
- 100% Pure Maple Syrup is best as other store-bought versions tend to be thicker and have less flavor. So use them at your own risk.

Sooo good, but please update the calorie count to at least 104 (tablespoon of pure maple syrup is 52 calories and 12 grams of sugar).

Just fixed, the original nutritional information was calculating it by ounce, that’s why it was showing so low.

Easy to make and delicious lemonade. My granddaughters, ages 3 & 6 years, gave it a thumbs up, as did the adults who drank it. This will go into my regular rotation of good things to drink.

Hi Rebecca
I’m wondering if you can give this delish lemonade recipe in amounts for a crowd. Perhaps for 12 ?
Rebecca Hubbell says
Hi Lucy, just multiple all of the ingredients by 12. So 2.25 cups lemon juice, 1.5 cups maple syrup, and 12 cups of water 🙂 Enjoy!
