Sift the flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a large bowl. Beat eggs in a separate bowl, then add the sugar, oil, milk, and vanilla. Add the coffee to the wet ingredients.
Grease the pan with shortening and dust with cocoa powder to help ensure the pan doesn’t stick to the sides of the cake. Pour the batter into the prepared pans and bake until a toothpick inserted into the bundt cake comes out clean.
This is a dark chocolate cake/devil’s food cake and while it has 2 cups of sugar in it it’s not super sweet. It would pair well with whipped cream and fresh berries.
