This Blood and Guts Cocktail is an easy and fun drink to add to your Walking Dead premiere or Halloween party!
So who’s excited for The Walking Dead tonight? I’m pretty eager to see where this season is going to take us in Alexandria. It looks like it’s going to be a pretty dark season, but then again, every season is pretty dark. We lost what, like 4 people out of our little group last season, that’s a lot so I’m hoping they’ll give us a bit of a break this time around… yeah right!
I’m pretty excited to have Morgan back though, I mean, let’s face it, he’s a badass and his super composed zen ways are definitely going to add an interesting dynamic to our existing cast of characters. Also, we’re supposed to meet some new bad guys that make the Governor look like a kitten, so there’s that.
And since I’m pretty pumped for tonight’s premiere and I’m sure you are too, I’ve whipped up a fun cocktail for ya! This hard twist on a Shirley Temple is also loaded up with grape and raspberry jello to give it that blood and guts look. It’s super fun and pretty tasty and works wonderfully for a Halloween party too!
Ingredients
- Raspberry Jello prepared
- Grape Jello prepared
- Ice
- 2 oz. Vodka
- 12 oz. Lemon Lime Soda
- 1 tbsp Grenadine
Instructions
- Add some of the prepared jello to a collins glass, you don't want perfect squares, choppy gives it a more realistic look!
- Add in ice, vodka, and soda and stir gently.
- Gently pour grenadine over the back of a spoon into the glass, the grenadine will cling to the foam from the soda for an extra bloody look.
Notes
Jello flavors can be changed out, try Blackberry or Strawberry too!
