Did you know that oranges are a winter fruit? Which is great since this is the time of year when we could all use a little extra vitamin C. I love eating oranges on their own but I love using them in other recipes like my Orange Braised Carrots and this refreshing Mint Orange Cucumber Water.
I’m a huge fan of spa waters, they’re a delicious way to hydrate without all the calories. I’ve always had a hard time drinking straight water, but when it’s water that’s been infused with other delicious ingredients like cucumber, orange, and mint, it makes it a lot easier to drink more of it!
Why is Cucumber Water Good for You?
Cucumbers contain silica, which provides extra benefits to the skin which means that hydrating with cucumber infused water will help your skin stay supple and smooth. Cucumber also helps to flush toxins from the body, so yes, I’d say it’s good for you!
How to Make Cucumber Water
Slice cucumber into 1/4-inch slices and combine with water, orange slices, and mint leaves. Chill and infuse for at least 1 hour. Make sure not to infuse for more than 12 hours, remove the product if you want to keep the water longer. The water alone can last in the fridge for up to 3 days.
I love the mix of flavors in this detox water. The natural oils of the orange rise to the top and with each sip, you’ll smell the vibrant oranges while tasting the cool cucumber and mint. It’s definitely a drink that plays on the sense! Pair it with this Cucumber Salad for a tasty and healthy lunch!

Mint Orange Cucumber Water
Ingredients
- 8 cups water
- 1 cara cara orange sliced
- 1/2 European cucumber* sliced
- 5 mint leaves
- ice
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a large pitcher and let chill for at least 1 hour to infuse. DO NOT infuse for more than 12 hours. You can remove the product from the water after 12 hours and store the water on its own in the fridge for up to 3 days.
