This Eggnog White Russian is a fun holiday twist on the classic vodka cocktail! Made with eggnog, coffee liqueur, vodka, and a dash of nutmeg!
Eggnog White Russian
This Eggnog White Russian is inspired by a classic cocktail, but with a holiday twist! Better yet, they’re super simple to make with just four ingredients.
If you love White Russian cocktails — or eggnog — you have to try this creamy spiked treat that swaps the traditional heavy creamy for a cozy splash of Eggnog!
It’s the perfect beverage to enjoy this time of year, full of seasonal flavors and a dose of booze. And if you love eggnog, you might also enjoy my Eggnog Pudding Shots!
How To Make Eggnog White Russian:
To make this drink, all you need is vodka, coffee liqueur (I prefer Kahlua), eggnog (of course!), and nutmeg to sprinkle on top.
This recipe takes hardly any effort — it’s almost just as easy as pouring plain eggnog into a glass!
- Simply stir together the coffee liqueur, vodka, and ice in a short rocks glass.
- Pour in the eggnog over the back of a spoon for a layering effect.
- Drink as is or stir before sipping. Garnish with nutmeg!
That’s why this drink is perfect for serving at holiday parties and get-togethers. You can even set up a bar with all the ingredients so guests can help themselves to another round.
(More mingling and merrymaking and less drink mixing, amirite?)
Of course, you’re going to need some beautiful glasses to sip this spiked eggnog in style.
Break out your prettiest barware when you’re hosting guests, and don’t forget the garnishes!
To make simple Eggnog White Russians look festive, I love adding straws, cinnamon sticks, and maraschino cherries to each glass. It’s all about the details, people!
And don’t forget that the kids can have their own version. Sprinkle a little nutmeg on some eggnog and add a few cherries, they’ll love their “fancy” drink.
By swapping vodka for rum plus a splash of Kahlua, this recipe is a nice change from traditional rum and eggnog. However, not sure how “Russian” it is at that point 😉
Plus, it’s a creative way to savor the spicy flavors of eggnog before the holiday season flies by!
As a fan of eggnog, I like to get my fill of the stuff while I can. That’s why I incorporate it into drink recipes and baking recipes all winter.
Not to mention, making a few rounds of these White Russian Cocktails is a wonderful way to use up extra eggnog you may have in the fridge.
For a taste of festive fun with a buzz, try this ingeniously simple Eggnog White Russian recipe this holiday season!

As far as the eggnog, is it best to use eggnog that already contains alcohol or will that not taste the best with the other alcohols already in the drink? Thanks!
Rebecca Hubbell says
