These Fish Stick Tacos are an easy appetizer recipe perfect for get-togethers. Each mini taco is made with Crunchy wontons, breaded Fish Sticks, crunchy slaw, and an Asian-inspired sauce.
If you’re in search of a last-minute appetizer to serve at your holiday get-together, make these Fish Sticks Wonton Tacos!
They’re beautiful, easy to make, and a nice hearty snack to enjoy at any celebration!
In fact, this festive seafood-inspired dish may even remind you of a beach getaway on a cold winter’s day. They’re filled with fresh seafood flavors and put a twist on traditional Fish Tacos!
These four-bite snacks are super easy to make and can be whipped up a couple of hours before your guests arrive.
The coleslaw mix has to marinate for an hour, but there are only about 20 minutes of prep time.
Wontons create the crispy taco shell using a fun baking hack!
The slaw is tossed in a savory dressing adds extra crunch, then flavorful breaded fish is the star ingredient.
Not only is that flaky fish the best part of the filling, but it’s also the easiest part to make.
That’s because I use a secret hack: Gorton’s Crunchy Breaded Fish Sticks!
Yep, this is the same brand of fish sticks you remember eating as a kid.
That slicker-wearing fisherman hasn’t aged, and the quality he stands for (and has for 167 years) hasn’t changed, either!
Gorton’s Fish Sticks are seasoned and golden fried on the outside and full of fresh-caught flavor on the inside.
They’re flash-frozen at the peak of freshness, sealing in the natural nutrients and that wonderful taste.
You can feel good about sharing these fish sticks with your whole family (and friends!), from your great aunt to your little nieces and nephews.
They’re made with 100% wild-caught whole filet fish and are made WITHOUT fillers, preservatives, artificial flavors, artificial colors, hydrogenated oils, or antibiotics.
Needless to say, Fish Stick Tacos are wholesome and delicious.
Plus, using Gorton’s Crunchy Breaded Fish Sticks is a huge timesaver when it comes to cooking the fish.
Aside from being easy to prepare, guests can help themselves to this no-utensils appetizer.
Whenever I host a casual gathering, I make sure most of the snacks allow guests to grab, go, and mingle!
Thanks to a hefty dose of protein, plus crunchy coleslaw and crispy wonton shells, this snack is more satiating than your typical munchies.
In fact, you can easily make a weeknight meal out of this recipe – it’ll be a family favorite!
The finishing touches are a squeeze of lime juice, a dash of Sriracha, and some fresh cilantro.
Then, when serving Fish Sticks Wonton Tacos, I like to set out tons of other toppings.
That way, everyone can enjoy theirs exactly as they like!
And let’s not forget how much youngsters love creating their own plates.
A little tip: Gorton’s Crunchy Breaded Fish Sticks are the perfect way to serve seafood to picky eaters!
Some of my favorite add-ons include guacamole, pico de gallo, sour cream, avocado, and Cotija cheese.
And in my opinion, you can’t have a fish taco without a drizzle of my Best Ever Fish Taco Sauce!
Make these scrumptious appetizers at your holiday get-together for an unconventional snack that everyone will love.
(Did I mention that these are extra delicious when paired with a fancy tropical drink?)
Fish Sticks Wonton Tacos are the perfect party food when you’re eating, drinking, and being merry.
Using Gorton’s Crunchy Breaded Fish Sticks as a hack, you can throw this dish together for a simple app that looks gourmet!
