Bourbon Chicken

-chicken breasts -salt -pepper -olive oil -soy sauce -chicken broth -brown sugar -ketchup -bourbon -apple cider vinegar -garlic paste -ground ginger -water -cornstarch -green onions -sesame seeds

In a large bowl, combine the chicken, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.  Heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for about 6 to 9 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through. Transfer the chicken to a bowl and set aside.

In a small bowl, mix together the water and corn starch until smooth. Pour into bourbon mixture and whisk quickly to combine. Let simmer until thickened, about 2 to 3 minutes.

Storage Tip: Keep any leftover Bourbon Chicken in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 to 4 days. Leftovers can also be frozen for up to one month.
